B. Sub-committee on Initial The SCITE makes recommendations to COTAP on –
Teacher Education (SCITE) (a) professional exchange with TEIs on how to:
The Sub-committee on Initial Teacher (i) plan, implement and review ITE
Education (SCITE) is set up under COTAP programmes to meet present and forecast
to advise on policies and measures needs as well as expectations of both the
relating to initial teacher education (ITE) education sector and the community at

qualifications acquired outside Hong Kong for
the purpose of teaching in Hong Kong; and
(d) other matters relevant to ITE which COTAP may
refer to.
