“InnoPower@JC: Teacher Fellowship” programme

“InnoPower@JC: Teacher Fellowship” programme is now open for application! It is an opportunity for passionate and visionary primary and secondary school teachers to turn their innovative ideas into reality.
Aiming to “empower ideas for social good”, the programme will help Teacher Fellows build their capacity, develop networks within and beyond the sector, provide resources, and actualise their ideas within their school. Their journey will be recorded and communicated for the on-going benefit of the wider community.
The programme will identify 10 Teacher Fellows in the first cohort and will offer them a wide range of support:
- A 10-week sabbatical capacity building programme that provides local and overseas learning opportunities
- Exchange opportunities with experts from various sectors
- A buddy programme that allows each Teacher Fellow to team up with two co-workers who will support the Fellows in their learning and project activities
- Coaches and mentors who help Fellows create impactful projects
- Seed money to support innovative projects created by Fellows and their buddies
- Subsidies for schools to cope with teaching needs during the Fellows’ sabbatical period
- A community of like-minded change makers who will co-create ideas, offer mutual support, and promote innovation in the wider community
The programme now accepts application from primary and secondary school teachers at Government, Aided and DSS schools. The deadline for application is Monday 6 February 2017, at 11:59 pm. For details please visit www.jcinnopower.hk.
